A proper coffee shop, quietly

The Quiet Cup is a coffee shop on Lee Road, Blackheath, pouring the classics well: double espresso, cortado, macchiato, flat white, latte and cappuccino, plus mocha, matcha latte, chai latte and a proper hot chocolate. Oat, coconut, almond and soya milk are always available, and the little ones get a babyccino or a kids' hot chocolate.

When the sun's out, the bar turns cold: Freddo cappuccino and Freddo espresso, iced lattes and Americanos, and iced matcha — classic, blueberry or strawberry. Add freshly squeezed orange juice or a blended smoothie, and a pot of tea for the traditionalists. The room is half the recipe: take a seat at the window bar and watch Lee Road go by.
